Created in 2002, The Elms is a perfect example of first understanding demand and then creating a product to suit. Research into the Christchurch market told us that there was a desire for larger lots close to the city. Prebbleton was identified as an ideal location to meet this need.
The initial challenge was securing a parcel of land in a very tightly held market. Through astute negotiations we purchased a site that had mature foliage at the entranceway, imbuing the development with an immediate sense of quality. We allowed for larger lot sizes of 800 to 1000m² and set about creating a new standard of subdivision in the area.
A bespoke marketing campaign helped us achieve sell down before we had completed the project. 15 years down the track, The Elms still sits comfortably at the upper end of the market and remains a preferred location for those wanting the best of city and country.
